Hello, we are using EE4 with add-ons, including calendar. I have searched forum as I am quite certain we can’t be the only ones asking about this but have not found a solution. Our events occur over multiple weeks (i.e., classes that meet weekly for 8 weeks). Users pay for these classes in one lump and all 8 classes are considered a unit of sale (not individual classes). The calendar does not seem to support this kind of event. Of course, we could program each event separately but that does not work in terms of sales, i.e., payments and how templates display these classes. How can we solve this need in the calendar without having to use another plug-in.

Can you let me know what you mean when you say the calendar doesn’t support this type of event?
How do you want it to display on the calendar?

Also, have you tried adding datetimes to the event for each time the class meets?

Josh; we run classes for a flat fee of X for X sessions. So for example $100 for 10 classes. Example: They will run one day per week for 10 weeks. We can enter 10 date/times on an event; however we really only want customer to have one option: i.e., to buy all 10. Just think of a college course. You can’t register for selective classes. You can only register for the whole semester. The calendar will show the whole semester as a continuous event from start date/time to end date/time, as if the event were taking place for all the time in-between. What do you recommend as a method to show events like this (which are quite common) in the EE calendar? Thank you.

I recommend adding datetimes to the event for each time the class meets. The one ticket with the $100 price will automatically be connected to all 10 classes(datetimes) within that event, and the customer will have that one ticket option.
