I am currently on the latest ver 4.6.23.p and I have a question.
I have an event set up and there are two main ticket purchase items and then there are add ons.
Example:
– There is a $99.00 ticket sale to purchase. I select #1
then there is a ticket for donating $5 and you can select multiples up to 20.
– I select 1. So my total is $119. But when I register, I am being forced to register two people because I have two tickets selected.
Is there a way I can categorize the tickets that would need to have multi person registration required?
Example.
Tickets selections 1 2 3 are 1 per person. If you select Ticket #1 and have 2 quanitity, then you would have to register two people. But Ticket Selection 4 is a donation of $5 with Quantity of 1, would not require a second registration.
Nope, not confusing at all. In fact it’s something we are seeing people ask for more and more.
Currently in EE4 any ticket purchased requires a registration of some form.
Therefore the only way to avoid that would be to have 2 tickets, Ticket A = ticket for event, Ticket B = ticket for event + $5 to charity.
We have been discussing ways to have registration-less tickets or something similar to the EE3 Price Modifier addon where answering questions can modify ticket prices. Nothing is set in stone, we are just discussing it, but I feel it’s likely to make an appearance in the future due to so many requests for this type of functionality.
Thank you for the heads up. I will look out for this possible feature in the future.
