Hello,
How can I setup an event in more than one language (in this case EN and PT)?
I’ve installed Event Espresso 4 on WordPress 4.

Hi Sergio,
Event Espresso does support translations (different languages):
https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-change-languages/
https://eventespresso.com/wiki/translating-event-espresso/
However, it does not support running multiple languages at one time.

Thanks Lorenzo,
I saw both those posts but I’m still confused from your last comment “does not support multiple languages at one time”. I can translate the tags using the .PO/.MO files but what about the values themselves, for example ticket names or registration questions?

Hi,
Basically you can translate EE into another language via the language packs and Poedit,but when it comes to 2 languages on one site you may struggle.
In your example of Ticket Names and Questions, these are entered by yourself in whichever language, so they are not translatable.

Thanks but unfortunately this is a situation we need to solve as we will be creating events for a target audience of different countries, our content needs to be multilingual (event name, description, etc.)
I saw some posts in the support forum from 2 years ago mentioning qTranslate. Is this compatibility of this plugin in your plans?

This compatibility is on our feature request list but its not something that will be available in the immediate future.
