Hello. I’m having an issue I hope you can help me resolve or at least point me in the right direction.
I’m using Event Espresso 4.10.0.p and Multi Events Registration 2.0.16.p.
I have set up an event “category” which displays 3 “events” in a particular order.

My issue is if the registrant adds the “events” in the wrong order the registration form also displays in the wrong order. The registration form displays in the order the events are added to cart by the registrant. This causes issues with the settings for “Questions for primary registrant” and “Questions for additional registrants”.
I need to display the registration forms in order of event ID.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi there,
I checked into this and it’s currently not possible to reorder the ticket selection before constructing the registration form. Note that the registration form is generated from line items saved when you add tickets to the cart and its those which need to be ordered rather than simply changing up the order on the form so it’s not as simple as is seems.
I’ve created a ticket to request some feedback from one of our developers to confirm I haven’t missed a way in which we could do this.

Due to my deadline, I’m going to have to revert to EE3. I am close to making EE4 work for me but there a couple of issues I will have to solve first.
I think that EE4 would work well for my purposes if it would offer the ESPRESSO_CART_LINK shortcode like EE3 does. This would also solve the cart ordering problem. If you guys don’t add this feature I may try to figure out how to add it myself before next year’s tournament.

You’re most welcome and I’m sorry I couldn’t find a workable solution for this.
We’ve been asked about a shortcode similar to ESPRESSO_CART_LINK for EE4 previously and I think it’s a great idea. We have a feature request ticket for this so I’ve added another vote to it.
