After adding to cart and going to cart page where we select quantity, we should have another button to “Continue shopping”; at that step the button should say “Complete registration” + another button to “Continue Shopping”. That’s the whole idea of the MER.

“Enter Attendee Information” is not very explicit to show that this goes to checkout. Where can we edit this button ?

How and where can we add this button ?
styling should be same as the “Enter Attendee Information” button.
And the link would go to the “registration” page which on our site is http://theatrelacbrome.ca/registration/

Currently we have only activated 2 events for the MER as we are still fine tuning and testing. So if you want to test, use following events:

http://theatrelacbrome.ca/registration/?ee=86
http://theatrelacbrome.ca/registration/?ee=103

thank you
Florian

Hi Florian,

Thank you for the feedback.

“Enter Attendee Information” can be edited either via the language files or if you prefer to edit files directly, the templates/shopping_cart.php file.

“How and where can we add this button ?” Which button?

mentioned in the first paragraph:

After adding to cart and going to cart page where we select quantity, we should have another button to “Continue shopping”; at that step the button should say “Complete registration” + another button to “Continue Shopping”. That’s the whole idea of the MER.

A second button to continue shopping. I have read on the forum that there are many people requesting this. I am very surprised you have not included this as this is the whole purpose of the addon: allow multiple registrations / purchases.
Florian
PS: If we edit the templates/shopping_cart.php file our changes will be deleted by future updates : how can we prevent that (without doing a diff check and reapplying our changes each time). ?

Hi Florian,

A second continue shopping button can be added to the shopping_cart.php template. You can copy over the entire template file to /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates and it will not get overwritten on an update.
