Multi-day events display like this:

September 5, 2014 – September 7, 2014
7:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Is there some way to display multi-day event like this:

September 5, 2014, 7:00 pm
September 7, 2014, 3:00 pm

Thanks.

Ty H.

Hi Ty,

How are you today?

Are you asking for suggestions for displaying them with the calendar, the event list page, or the event details page?

Garth:

Event list page and event detail page. The current multi-day date/time display is confusing for a multi-day event. It works fine for a single day event.

It would be helpful to be able to show the starting date and time on one line and the ending date and time on the next line. This is needed in both the event listing and single page event.

Thanks.

Ty

Hi Ty,

One way to make this happen would be to enter each date as one datetime. They’ll each display on one line this way, but there would also be an entry for the 6th.

Aside from that, it would involve some template hacking to change the display from one line to two, but it’s possible with if you’re comfortable with modifying PHP template tags.

Josh:

I’ll just go with the multi-day events the way Event Espresso displays them. Trying to changes the PHP code is too hard. But thanks for the suggestion.

Regards,

Ty H.
