Hello.
I was looking for a good wordpress solution for selling tickets and I think I found your plugin.
My project target events like shows or nitght club entries. But I want to use this plugin for the sale of air or ground transportation tickets, buy hotel room, etc.
I know that a booking system is best suited for this type of project, but what interests me the EE4 Ticket Scanning add-on, like so the customer buys his ticket on the site (it selects the starting date, if it’s for a trip, or occupancy dates of bedroom, if it is for a hotel) and will present it to the travel agency or hotel. Does this scenario is possible with this plugin.
My second question is whether this plungin can be integrated on a booking site with a reservation system already in place?
What is the payment method accepted?
A final concern: I would use the mobile payment systems, and mobile homes wonder a web services and an API to run the Mobile Money on my website. Do you have any idea about it?

Hi,
Thanks for your interest in Event Espresso.
I would first advise to give EE4 a test drive (for free) over at http://demoee.org as this will give you a better idea whether the plugin is right for your project or not.
Does this scenario is possible with this plugin.
The plugin can certainly be used for registering for trips and bedrooms etc, but one aspect that may not be suitable is that the customer cannot select their own dates. You as the admin set the dates and the customer chooses from that selection.
A bookings plugin may provide better functionality for you in respect to this.

Generally we advise against using Event Espresso with other event management plugins, though you should be ok with a bookings plugin. We cannot guarantee that there will not be conflicts, as we have not tested our plugin with the myriad of other event and reservation plugins out there.

Please make sure to pick the correct tab for the version of the plugin you wish to use as each version allows different payment options. The version I would recommend is EE4.

I am sorry, but can you provide more information about this as I am not sure what you mean.

Thank you for your quick response. I’ll try the demo. Infact, my last question was:
I went to a telecom operator for mobile payment (Mobile Money) and it asked me to install a web services API if I want to use their system of Mobile Money.
Except I do not know how to install a web services on a site. Do you have any idea? Does your plugin allows you to add other payment modes manually?

Hi Emry, I believe your question is related to accepting payments via Mobile Money. We do not currently have a payment gateway available for that service.
However, we do have documentation available for writing a new payment gateway for Event Espresso 4:
