Mondree Template Content Builder does not save Sample Page Content

I am using the Mondree Showtheme template with Event Espresso 4. For my main home page, I am trying to add the Sample Page content builder but each time I select update the Sample Page content disappears as if nothing was ever added. However I am able to add/save other content builder content.
