Hi there! We are using Event Espresso in combination with the Mollie Gateway plugin, which is working great. But we want to do some refunds for a certain event. Can you please let us know how we can do this? For example, if want to do a refund through a transaction item we don’t see the option ‘Mollie’ anymore. Should we select an other option? Customers pay their tickets through iDeal.
Just to note, refunds within Event Espresso are a 2 step process.
One is to add a record within Event Espresso itself so you can track registrations with refunds and the other is to actually issue the refund through the payment merchant (in this case Mollie). Adding a refund in EE will not automatically refund the Mollie payment for you.
For example, if want to do a refund through a transaction item we don’t see the option ‘Mollie’ anymore.
Within Event Espresso -> Payment methods, is the Mollie payment method still enabled?
If so, check the settings for it and make sure that in the ‘Usable From?’ section the ‘Admin Registrations Page’ option is checked. If no, check it and save.
Now when you edit the transaction for the registration and apply a refund within there, it should display in the dropdown:
Apply the refund within the transaction there, then log into Mollie and manually apply a refund to the transaction there to actually initiate a refund from them.
