I want to have the mollie payment screen in English. I read in the mollie documents that it is possible but im not sure where to enter it in the code. ‘locale’ = ‘en’.
Hi Kendra, thanks for sharing. I’ll create an enhancement ticket to get feedback. I do have a question on the parameter:
string
Optional. Allows you to pre-set the language to be used in the payment screens the customer will see. When this parameter is not provided the browser language will be used instead (which might actually give you better results). Currently we support these locales: de, en, es, fr, be, be-fr, nl.
If I understand it correctly, it should automatically use the language that is set in the registrants/attendees web browser.
For example, if my browser was set to French, then it should use the French language on the payment page (fr).
That should work in your favor since it will adapt the to the language for your registrants/attendees.
Thanks Loremzo,
We work with tourists that stay in Amsterdam. Some of them use hotel webbrowsers or computers of friends that might be set to Dutch instead of English. So for us it would be easiest if Mollie would always show up in English.
Hi Kendra, thanks for sharing additional feedback. We’ll update this support post once we have more information.
