Hi,
I am using Mollie to implement a SEPA direct debit (SEPA Inkasso) payment. Our Mollie account is verified and the SEPA method is activated in the Mollie account settings.
Still the SEPA direct debit is not showing up when you try to pay via event espresso. Mollie Support responded to me with this:
"Did you also check if your website software supports SEPA-incasso? If not, you need to implement our Recurring API first to make it work: https://www.mollie.com/nl/docs/recurring ."
What am I missing to get SEPA direct debit via Mollie to work?

Hi David,
The EE4 iDEAL Mollie plugin does not support SEPA direct debit payments. You can check with these guys to see if they have added support for SEPA direct debit:

Hi Josh,
I did follow up on your idea to use pronamic, but tests with live and test api keys where not successful. The support of sepa method is nowhere stated in the description. I did write to the developers, but don’t have high expectation here.
We are not tied to Mollie, we just started with them, because Lorenzo mentioned them in this thread: https://eventespresso.com/topic/ee4-sepa-direct-debit-deger/
SEPA Direct Debit is crucial for the German market. I need a solution to implement this payment method or have to look for another shop solution than event espresso.
Any help or advice is appreciated.

Hi David,
I’m afraid that Sepa Direct Debit cannot be supported via the EE4 Mollie Payment Plugin.

I already knew that – that was not my question in my post from 29th Dec.
The question is: Is there any way of implementing direct debit in Event Espresso? (With or without mollie, I don’t care that much).

Hi David,
There’d need to be an add-on built for a payment gateway that supports SEPA Direct Debit to make that possible. You could contract with a developer that can build a gateway. There’s a list of developers that have experience with building add-ons for Event Espresso here. You might also try contacting this agency, they’ve built a gateway for WooCommerce that supports SEPA Direct Debit, so they have experience.
