Hello,
Calendar events don’t show event titles on mobile device. Is this normal?
I am trying to have a way to have the events show in calendar view on a larger screen and in list view when on a mobile device. Is there an easy way to do this?
Currently we load both up and hide the other but load time drastically increased. Suggestions?

That’s normal because the titles do not fit on small screens.
One way to conditionally load one view (list for phone and calendar for larger screens) is you install the WP Mobile detect plugin:

Then you can wrap the shortcodes like this:
[phone][ESPRESSO_EVENTS][/phone]
[notphone][ESPRESSO_CALENDAR][/notphone]
