Mobile App Error when trying to connect

I have a test site I am working on and when trying to connect the mobile app to the test site I get the following error:

‘The server was acting as a gateway or proxy and received an invalid response from the upstream server’

I am using WPEngine as a host
WP Core is the current version
EE and its plugins are all up to date
The mobile app was downloaded today, so it should be current as well

Any idea how to get this to connect so we can test the ticket scanning plugin we ought, thanks in advance!

Hi,

With WPEngine they give you the option to password protect a staging site. Does the test site have that set up or is the test site publicly accessible?

Hi Josh,

I checked to make sure, but no that password is not active on the site.

May I ask what the exact string you are inputting into the Website URL is?

You can mark your reply private so only support staff can see it if preferred.

Are you using iOS or Android?

Are you using iOS or Android?

Can you send me temp login details so I can test a login on the app?

(Note I’m an Android user and don’t own any Apple devices so can’t test iOS)
