Hello

I am setting up tickets for a conference.

The tickets for the conference are paid. There is an additional event which costs £20 and another event which is free.

When doing some test bookings and paying by invoice (i.e. not by gateway) I have found that the tickets to all events get sent as soon as the person has chosen to pay be invoice.

This is fine for the free event, but the user also receives tickets for all events.

Is this a bug or is there anyway around this?

I am not sure if there is a way to choose when tickets are being sent.

Hi Mark,

So you have 2 events setup, one with a paid ticket and the other a free ticket?

Or is this a single event with a paid and free ticket within that?

What is the default registration status for the event(s)?

Are you using the latest versions of EE and the Multi Event Registration add-on?

I am using the latest version of EE with Multi Event Registration.

There are two separate events, one paid and one free.

As soon as I select pay by invoice all the tickets are sent.

All events are set to pending payment including the free event.

AH yeah I see.

If you go to Event Espresso -> Messages.

Find the ticket notice within that list of message templates.

Edit the template by clicking the ‘Registrant’ link for that template – http://take.ms/xA9kn

Switch the main content to ‘text’ mode then search for [TXN_TICKETS_URL] – http://take.ms/SZGFk

Than that shortcode to [TXN_TICKETS_APPROVED_URL] and save the template.

Now when your ticket notice is sent the tickets will only show approved tickets.
