Good morning,
As a volunteer developer and webmaster for a non-profit organization (NPO) in Canada, I am concerned about the probability of becoming unavailable for some reasons (health, accident and so on…) which could compromise some of the NPO activities, in particular events managed through Event Espresso. We do have a co-webmaster who can handle basic tasks but it would soon become difficult to maintain a fully functional website.
Here are my questions in case the above scenario would occur :
1) Do you offer premium services to eventually migrate our event espresso installation, including message’s and ticket’s models, overall configuration, (re)connect to payment gateways, etc., to your Event Smart platform ? If so, what would be the terms and conditions ?
2) Would your recommended EE partner Codeable.io be able to offer premium services to support our current installation (WordPress + Event Espresso), should we momentarily decide not to migrate to Event Smart ?
As you can see, we would prefer to keep our self-hosted solution but we want to make sure we are covered in case of an unlikely and unwanted situation.

Hi Patrick,
Some great questions. Currently Event Smart does not have anything set up to import existing sites. One day they might, but it probably would not be a good fit for your non-profit because Event Smart doesn’t allow for installing 3rd party plugins or adding 3rd party code.
With regards to Codeable, they’ve got a Retainers service that would work well for ongoing maintenance of the website:
