I’ve recently updated our version of EE and now when registrants try to sign up for events, the text boxes are no longer there. I’ve tried toggling them from required to not, and any other fields such as radio buttons or drop downs do work, it’s just text fields and text areas that are missing.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for the screenshots. It looks like they are there but appear invisible since there is no border around the form fields.

Could you share a link to any event on your site so I can take a closer look?

i agree, they are there…and if u know where to set the cursor, it will work. however, we have numerous employees who get confused, don’t know what to do and get frustrated with the process since the blanks aren’t visible. the tool is very important to us in our employee training program, so hopefully we can get this resolved..A NOTE: we have the multievent registration, so you will need to add this to the cart and then view cart to see the problem.

One final note–this is a recent problem. this issue started about a month ago, everything worked very well up until then. I look forward to the assistance getting this fixed.

Also, we’ve noticed that if we don’t use the multi-event registration and instead use the single registration the fields do show up on the event page.

Thanks for the link. I’ve found a solution. This is coming from the general.css file for your theme (rocket press):

Please add the following CSS to a plugin like My Custom CSS:

textarea, input[type=text], input[type=password], input[type=email], select { font-size: inherit; outline:none; /* border:none; */ }

Then refresh your web browser and it should load the new CSS.
