Hi
We have a problem where a few days of registrations have gone missing. The payments went through from the registrations and the confirmation emails have gone through.. but those registrations are missing in the ‘Registrations’ section of Event Espresso.
So don’t know why those would have just gone missing.
We have the ‘Payment Notification’ email these missing entries and If I click of the ‘Transaction ID’ on the link on the email it takes me to a page that gives some details as follows…

Primary Contact
There is no attached contact for this transaction. The transaction either failed due to an error or was abandoned.

Do you have any idea what this can be and if the registrations can be recovered?
I can see on WordPress some things need updating because of this error message… do you think this is the cause also I see I need to update the PHP.

Which error message?
From the above it sounds like the registration have been removed from the database, however, EE can’t delete registration with related data (in short once you pass the ‘attendee information’ step, there’s related data) and if they aren’t in the database you can’t recover them unless you have a back that still has them in it.
First, what dates are missing? Are they recent?
Has your host done any kind of maintenance, or ‘database optimizations’ recently?
Ever had the site cleaned after an infection/malware?
