We recently switched from PayPal to Stripe payment method. Is there any way to add descriptions to the reports from Stripe? We would like to be able to distinguish the transactions by Event Name. I found the following support topic about the same / similar issue. Do you have any updates or advice?

Hi there,
The default description for most of the payment methods (including Stripe) is:
'Event Registrations from %1$s for %2$s'
%1$s is the Site Name.
%2$s is the Event Title.

Yes, it does appear we are using Stripe elements integration. So, to use that default description, do I simply copy the ‘Events Registrations from %1$s for %2$s’ and go to Event Espresso > Payment Methods > Stripe tab > paste into Admin-Only Description?

No, that’s a different field. The admin only description is for within Event Espresso itself.
'Event Registrations from %1$s for %2$s' is the default description used within the code itself for Stripe descriptions.
If you open up your Stripe dashboard, go to Payments and click on a payment, does anything show in the description field like my screenshot above?
