I have added an Admin only field, so that I can add notes on specific registrations. To add content to this field I first select registration details, under Actions. There is an option to edit the above question group. I select this, which makes the fields active. I edit the contents of the field, but the Update Registration Questions button is still inactive. (It should be activated by the edit question group action)

Workaround. Move cursor outside the field, or select a different field, this activates the button. Then click on button will save changes.

Hi, I understand the issue that you described but I have not been able to duplicate it.

I ran some testing with each of the question types including an admin-only question and it triggers the save option after editing them. Here is a quick screencast:

Hi Lorenzo, You were able to duplicate the problem. Where you update the admin-only field. After you have added text, if you try to click on the Update Registration Button, it is not enabled. You have to so an extra step, as you did, by clicking outside the field, before the button is active.

Watch the screen shot and you’ll see you captured the problem.

So for example, when I entered the text in this textarea, I can go straight to the submit button and submit it. You cant do the same after updating the admn only field.

Hi kcray,

Thank you for reporting this.

I’ve been testing editing questions within a registration and it turns out the same happens for all fields not just admin-only, I have created a ticket for some developer feedback.

Currently if you edit the field then press Return/Enter on your keyboard the update function is called which saves the need to click on the page first.
