I’m trying to setup the MIGS payment for my client’s website. I entered the correct Merchant ID and Access Code. When I try to conduct a transaction I get the following message
“An error has occured: Transaction not processed – system error.”
Is a ‘catch all’ error from MIGS that can be caused by multiple issues, it generally means there is an issue with your account or the ID/Access code you are using is incorrect.
Can you double check the details you are using are correct and that the payment method is not in Debug mode?
I contacted the MIGS merchant and they said my client’s gateway only supports 3 party model where the cardholder is redirected to a payment page. Is there a way to integrate this model with Event Espresso?
In that case you’d need to build a new third party payment gateway add-on that takes the customer offsite. The MIGS gateway that Event Espresso built does the billing form onsite. There’s a section in the developer documentation that shows how to build a payment gateway add-on here:
