MIGS Gateway. This payment method does not support the currency set on your site

I’m trying to setup the MIGS Payment Gateway for my client. I am getting the following alert at the top of the page:

IMPORTANT This payment method does not support the currency set on your site (AED). Please activate a different payment method or change your site’s country and associated currency.

My client had been accepting payment in UAE Dirhams through that gateway on their previous website.

When I do a test or live transaction. I get the error:
An error has occured: Transaction not processed – system error.

I am using the correct Merchant ID and Access Code. And I checked for spaces in the code entry.

Please advise

Hi Hasan,

The notice shown in the admin can be considered a warning, EE will continue to function as normal with that notice. We have a ticket for the Migs gateway not to show that notice for more of the available currencies Migs supports which will be included in the next update to the payment method.

However as mentioned the notice should not cause problems with the payments, is the above error the full error Migs are returning?

You can view the error within one of the EE transactions (Event Espresso -> Transactions), opening one up and looking within the ‘Gateway response’ for a payment you’ve made.
