Migration from EE3 to latest EE4 lost all EVent categories

Migration from EE3 to latest EE4 lost all EVent categories, what can i do? i have hundreds of events, cant recategorize them by hand.

Hi Kish, did you migrate from the latest version of Event Espresso 3?

Could you restore from a backup and try the migration process again?

i Tried to update from Version 3.1.36.6.P to the latest EE4, i will have a try again but first i’ll update EE3 to the latest. Will let you know

Hi Lorenzo,

I sent our development site URL, and access, you can log in the backend, and install any MYSQL plugin to check out the database.

Thanks. I’ve added Adminer (similar to PHPMyAdmin) and asked a developer to take a look.

I’ll update your support post once I have more information.

Hi Kish, could you restore to a prior database that has the Event Espresso 3 event categories? A developer checked into this and did not see those in the current database.

Thats fine, thanks, problem solved. WE;ve used the categories on Post creation, not within the Events.
