Migrating EE info to a new site

My client is having issues with his current website which uses EE Version 3.1.36.6.P, but he purchased the latest version. I am building him a new site, but need help with how i can migrate all his data into the new site which has the new version loaded.

You can use one of these plugins to migrate the data to a new site:

i mean for the migration of Event Espresso

Are you familiar with how to use phpmyadmin? If so, and since you’re using EE3, you can export all of the tables that have the word _events_ in their name, and import them into the other site.

Yes I am familiar with phpmyadmin, my concern is losing registrant information, payment information,etc.

so if i export all the tables from EE 3 version that i said i have per your statement, will they work in EE 4.9?

The EE3 data will need to be run through the EE4 migration tool before it can be used:
