I’ve recently built a new website that is ready to go live, but I need to migrate the data from my previous WP website to the new the domain and need to upgrade from EE3 to EE4 which has already been purchased.
What you could do is copy over the EE3 database tables from the new site (the names of the tables all have a prefix _events_).
Then after the database tables are copied over, you’ll need to activate the current version of EE3. You can download a copy of the current version of Event Espresso 3 from this link
Then, you deactivate and delete the EE3 plugin and install the Event Espresso 4 plugin onto the new site, and you’ll be prompted to run the migration scripts. You’ll find more information about the migration here:
