I just logged in to my site and there was a pending update for EE, which I processed. EE also did a very fast database update function. Unfortunately, one or the other update caused an issue with the Messages screen and now each message template takes up a large amount of space and is missing the detail that shows if it’s active or not, which title it was active for, the functioning icons on the right, etc. The Custom Messages screen is behaving the same way and is also creating a new custom template each time I try opening up a template to view. Also, opening the edit screen also shows a 2-sentence message that states the template is active, following immediately by the template is inactive. Hoping you can help. |

EDIT: add another issue. When trying to process a registration, users receive an error that says Nonce Fail. |

Hi there, Can you add screenshots of this, please? I’m not seeing any of the above issues with the messages screen so need to see what I’m looking for.
I’ve just tested a registration on your site and didn’t get the above, can you add the steps required to reproduce this, please? |

Thanks so much, Tony. I was desperate to get the registration working to reopen again yesterday morning and found an older support ticket that mentioned potential problems with caching and with Yoast Duplicate Post. I disabled both of those plugins and the system was running again. But I also think you might have done another update (?) so I’m not sure where the fix actually came in. Anyway, I just re-enabled those two plugins and checked everything again and all seems to be working okay now. I do have a screen shot of the mess I had the other day before all of this if you need to see it for any reason. |

Sure, send it over to support[at]eventespresso.com and I’ll take a look. Caching is the most likely cause, especially cached CSS files within the admin (which could easily cause the problem you’ve mentioned with messages), the nonce issue is also likely related to caching but couldn’t see any on your site at the time.
Likely with disabling those plugins, we haven’t push any more updates for EE5 since 5.0.3 on April 4th: |
