I’m having a problem with my messages generating. I see that there are 3 queued for generating, but they don’t have any recipient attached to them. And when I try and generate them, I get “An Error has occurred: The messages were not generated. This could mean there is already a batch being generated on a separate request, or because the selected messages are not ready for generation. Please wait a minute or two and try again.” My event espresso is up to date. Also my clients have not been getting confirmation emails when they register. Could this be a factor in generating messages?
You can actually set Event Espresso to generate and send on the same request (instead of on delayed requests), which might work best for your site, by going to Event Espresso > Messages > Settings, then you set Generate and send all messages: On the same request, then click Update.
No, the priority is set by Event Espresso. For example, if it’s a Payment Received message, that gets higher priority than a Registration Pending Payment message.
Again, your email issues may likely be resolved by switching the setting for “Generate and send all messages” to: On the same request.
