Messages Do not go out/Say "no recipient".

I have been trying to set up my first event and am encountering a problem with the registration confirmation emails. They are not going out. When I look at “messages sent” they show there is “no recipient”. I tried deleting the event and starting over, but still having trouble. Can you please help

Hi Alison,

How long are you waiting for the message to be sent? By default they take a few minutes to generate and send, when they are first added to the queue they will show ‘No Recipient’.

Did not receive it for more than an hour. Than I tried to resend. Can you help?

Do you have an event I can run a test registration on?

Have you setup your ‘Primary Contact email’ within Event Espresso -> General Settings?

If you go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Settings.

You’ll find the option ‘Generate and send all messages’, change that setting to ‘On the same request’ and save the settings.

That switches EE over to end the emails immediately so run another test and see if you receive the email then?
