I have looked in the support posts, but am unable to find the answer to this question:

When the Event Administrator (me) receives a Registration Notification I receive a name. How can I also get the registrant’s email in the same message? Thank you for any help you can give me.

Hi Alison,

If you go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default Message templates.

You’ll see a list of all the EE templates there, find the ‘Registration Approved’ template and click on the ‘Event Admin’ link for that message – http://take.ms/Vbkyo

Now you’ll be editing the message that is sent to the event admin when a registration is Approved.

Scroll down and look for the ATTENDEE_LIST section – http://take.ms/31Qxd

You can add the [ATTENDEE_EMAIL] shortcode to that section for the email to be included, so for example on the first line you’ll have:

<h4><a href="[EDIT_ATTENDEE_LINK]">[FNAME] [LNAME]</a></h4>

You could change that to:

<h4><a href="[EDIT_ATTENDEE_LINK]">[FNAME] [LNAME]</a> ([ATTENDEE_EMAIL])</h4>

Which adds the email in brackets.

Then save the template and test a new registration to confirm it worked.

You’re most welcome Alison and thank you for the feedback 🙂

If you have a minute would you mind sharing your EE experience in a review?
