At random times when bulk batch messages seem to be sent, they aren’t actually sent. Any reason?

Hi there,

When you say they seem to have sent, do they show as sent in EE?

Do you see the messages in Event Espresso -> Messages -> Message activity and do they have a green status bar to the left?

A fair amount of times, if I click on a page’s worth of registrants to send a batch message to, it won’t send. But if I send a batch message to 1 individual, it will. Super time consuming when I’m sending out lots of messages.

When you do a full page of registrants, do they show as sent in EE?

If you do a batch and see the messages as sent in the message activity queue then it means your likely hitting a limit of how many emails you can send in per X (Min/hour/something) set on the server and the mailserver is simply dropping the email.

If it’s not generating and trying to send them, then we may be able to help, but I need to know which of the two is happening as it’s not clear above.

So do the messages show as sent in EE but then don’t actually arrive, or do the messages fail and not show at all in the activity list unless you do them in singles?
