Hello! I’m having trouble with exporting/importing events and attendees between EE installations. I’d like to order priority support to get help resolving the issue, but I’m not sure how many priority support tokens a job like this will require – is there a way to start a private dialog to get a ballpark quote?
Which version of EE are you using, EE3 or EE4?
You may be better off with a little custom php code to pull from one db and push to another db by table rows, rather than trying to use csv export and import, depending on what exactly you are trying to do. The csv export doesn’t contain everything, since it was more intended for import into a spreadsheet rather than as a source file for import into another install.
This is exactly the sort of solution I’d like to hire someone to put together. I’m a front-end person, and I’ve moved on to other projects, but my client is having a problem syncing things up between a dev server and production server. Is this the sort of thing that support tokens would cover?
It looks like it might be a version problem; both sites currently have the EE3 plugins active, but when I look at the MySQL tables it looks like EE is storing information in a different scheme on each installation.
Once the tables are synced, I can also recommend using the WP-db-migrate pro to push and pull data betweeen the sites to keep things synced.
