Menu missing, cannot access /events

Hi there,

I just installed ee4 on an existing site that meets the technical requirements.

The menu that should be in the left column is absent, no event espresso items are in the “+ NEW” menu, and when you try to visit /events it has a “you cannot access via this route” message (something along those lines).

Please help!

Hi there,

Sounds like some of the EE capabilities are missing on your account.

If you can’t see that menu item, go to :

{domain}/wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_maintenance_settings&action=data_reset

Click on the ‘Reset Event Espresso Capabilities’ button only (others will delete data so double-check you click the correct button).

Does it then load the menu?
