I tried sending an email to Lorenzo, but it bounced back so I’m trying here…

When I view the individual registrant’s records for my event, it says there were no
custom questions asked – even though those questions show up when I click
on registration form under “view all questions.”

I tried creating a new registration then exporting to a CSV report. It has
their contact information, but still doesn’t include answers to the other
two questions I added.

Also, I will have an option for a person to buy a ticket at full price, and
bring someone for free. However, it doesn’t look like it will collect
information on the free person which I need. Do I have to charge $1 for
that second person in order to get that information?

Hi Katy,

Here is what I think is happening.

From your feedback, you may have your events set to collect custom information from the primary registrant and that person is registering for multiple pricing options.

When that occurs, then the custom questions will appear on only the primary registrant record. The additional records will be linked to the primary registrant as that person’s name and email will be used.

In this example, the personal and address question group will be used for the first registrant and the additional registrants will have the name and email used for those records:

If you would like to request information for all pricing options, then you can enable the question groups like this:

On the records that you are checking, try looking for the first record in the group and you should see the custom questions and answers there.
