max_input_vars not showing correct #

I am getting a pop up saying i don’t have enough limit when I try and add more dates to an event
But the pop up says the limit is 4000, but I spoke with the host and they confirmed it is 10000
I had this same issue about 6+ months ago and you gave me a solution that did fix it, but I cant recall what that was.
Please advise

Hi there,

It’s odd that your getting this again but the solution last time was to force a rebuild of your EE config.

Go to Event Espresso -> General Settings.

Make a simple change, say add a letter or number to organisation name and save.

Then revert that change and save again.

Does that fix it this time?

I found my old thread and did try that again and it worked again, so it now shows 10000. However… my event actually needs 10300, so the host increased it to 12000 but and I tried that trick again, but its not working this time

Go to Event Espresso -> Maintenance -> System Information.

Search for max_input_vars, what value does it show?

There are actually 2 locations that would likely show up on that page.

One with a heading of ‘environment’ (that’s your EE config value mentioned above), like this:

The other is from your php.ini settings, which shows with a bunch of other settings, like this:
https://monosnap.com/file/PlO9WaLb52ujGOls4dkSG3pw69HLWs

If all those second values still show 10,000 then your server is still set to 10,000. Depending on how your host has set the value they may need to restart the web server for the changes to apply.

yes both of theses show 10000

Then you need to contact your host and have them investigate this, whatever change they made hasn’t applied on your site.
