What do I have to do to get the map to work? Please see this link where it says Oops. https://lebanoncla.com/events/29th-annual-union-canal-days/ |

Hi Jim, You’ll need to get a Google Maps API key, then enter the key in your site’s Event Espresso > Venues > Google Maps page. |
|
I got an API key, set restrictions to be the IP of my web server’s ip. I then pasted the key where you said to but it still says Oops. Any ideas of what to check? |
|
You’ll need to remove the IP restriction. You can set the domain instead. |

First of all, THANKS for your help and patience. https://lebanoncla.com/events/29th-annual-union-canal-days/ I removed the ip restriction and entered *.lebanoncla.com/* as the HTTP referrer and saved. I waited 30 minutes, opened a clean browser and it’s still Oops. did I enter website wrong? |

The URL set in “Accept requests from these HTTP referrers (web sites)” needs to be: |

Sorry, I still can’t get it to work. Your suggestion seemed right on. Here is a screen capture. Do you have any other ideas? https://screencast.com/t/xJTrrTNfas |

There’s a different error on your site now: Looks like you don’t have the Google Maps JS API enabled. In the google console click on Dashboard to view the APIs enabled on your account, you want at least the Google Maps JavaScript API enabled on your account – http://take.ms/z9JUB |

Thanks again, I enebled that and will wait 30 minutes and try again. https://screencast.com/t/O2fyzAxe6 |

Sorry, you will also need the Google Maps Geocoding API, and Static maps API. Tbh, you may as well enable them all. |
|
Thanks guys, that worked. I really appreciate the good support. Jim |
