Hi,

I changed the setting for deleting saved message from never delete to 3 months.

Will this clear messages in table for last year?

When will AHEE__EE_Messages_Scheduler__cleanup run automatically? Can I run manually?

How can I reduce to 1 month?

Can I delete entries in messages table via phpmyadmin without impacting system?

Thanks

Alan

Hi there,

Will this clear messages in table for last year?

It should do yes.

When will AHEE__EE_Messages_Scheduler__cleanup run automatically? Can I run manually?

It uses WP Cron to run once event 24 hours. You can run it manually if you prefer, for that you can use WP Crontrol.

How can I reduce to 1 month?

The value is filtered so with some custom code you can change the value:

https://gist.github.com/Pebblo/19d7beb76c2911b03ccc509a47dff6f1

Add that to a Custom Functions Plugin on your site to change it to 1 month.

Can I delete entries in messages table via phpmyadmin without impacting system?

We advise against modifying the tables directly to prevent issues.
