I recently updated to the most recent version of EE4 and manual registration have stopped working. When I click on the Add Tickets and Continue to Registration it just refreshes the page and doesn’t progress.

Hi Tony,

Didn’t get notice of your reply sorry for the delay.

getting a double ticket box to as you can see.

the none progressing in in the backend though.

Hi Jos,

The form submission failure there may be the result of a plugin conflict.

One way you can rule out a plugin or theme conflict is by installing the Health Check plugin, then go to WP → Dashboard → Heath Check → Troubleshooting. There you’ll Enable Troubleshooting Mode, then once that’s activated you’ll reactivate Event Espresso only via the Health Check’s Troubleshooting item in the WP admin bar. At that point, can you check to see if the issue persists?

Hi Josh, so you think its a plugin conflict then. I checked out your recommended troubleshooting plugin and am leary to install it based on many comments stating it breaks peoples sites. This is a live site with active subscriptions so I can’t afford to have that happen. Any other ideas how to resolve this?

You could copy/clone the site onto a dev/staging server and troubleshoot there.

Ok, so I put up a maintenance mode sign and deactivated all plugins except EE4 the problem still persists.

A new development appeared as well.

The test ticket I used is now marked sold out. and showing all 5 available tickets as reserved.

I have also check with my server host to see if mod_security rules were being triggered they have assured me that they have been disabled.

The sold out status for that one test ticket is because there are 5 registrations in process (note the reserved count is also 5). Those reset after 1 hour, or you can reset those now by going to Event Espresso > Maintenance > Reset and click the button to reset the reservation counts.

Can you check to see if the issue persists if the theme is switched to twentyseventeen?

Hi Jos,

In your screenshot you have Admin only tickets, how are you creating admin only tickets?

I’m guessing from you older thread that you are using this? https://github.com/chasecmiller/EE4-AdminOnlyTicket

If so when you said this:

Ok, so I put up a maintenance mode sign and deactivated all plugins except EE4 the problem still persists.

Did you de-activate all plugins/custom code (including the above) and ONLY have event espresso core activated?

Josh, switching the theme back and forth seems to have solved the problem but since recent updates, I noticed it EE4 being very glitchy. It was working perfectly for over 2 years. It was just after you added the messaging queue system etc.

Anyways thanks for your help.

Tony, Yes I did deactivate all plugins. I am not using that admin only ticket plugin I prefer the css hack works fine without adding yet another plugin.
