Hi there, is there an option to turn off the automatic email to the client after manually adding a payment? This is a bit confusing for them, since I still have to do negative refund to adjust invoice and payments.
Thanks
R

Send Related Messages?

By default a payment message is sent to the primary registrant after submitting this form. However, if you check this box, the system will also send any related messages matching the status of the registrations to each registration for this transaction.

Hi, currently no per this conversation:

However, take a look at this idea for handling partial payments:

Thanks for these options. Do I understand it right that if I want to give a client the option to pay either deposit only, or full payment all the time, I need to use option 1. Or can I make this work in both options.
Thanks, R

Hi,

You could create a single event that has both pricing options available instead of splitting then up or using one event & hiding certain pricing options.

I just noticed that if I do the two events, one with the deposit and the other one with the final payment, in the Event registration list, they both show, which is not really looking good. Is there an option to hide an event from that list?

I have a problem. I did add the CSS in my child theme stylesheet. I even cleared cache, and still see all ticket option. Can you please take a look? I must be doing something wrong.

I guess the CSS has to look a little different. I added it through the suggested My Custom CSS and it worked that way. Thanks, I think this is a good solution.

I see another problem though. When I click on the event preview, it does take the tickets which I want to hide away.
Then I embed the event, those unwanted tickets show up again. Very frustrating.

Hi, the embed option won’t work for this as that loads the site in an iframe. Try the ticket selector shortcode instead and that should work.

Thanks, that worked.
Two more, hopefully the last, questions:
In order to have the Final Payment ticket work in this one event option, I have to change the total number of tickets, at least shortly before I send out the Final Payment reminder email. Otherwise the Final Payment ticket will not be available, since we have sold all tickets already. Right?
And will this Final Payment be linked to the already registered client automatically, since I use the Newsletter email to send the reminder, or will they show up as additional registrations?
Thanks for your help,
R

Hi, instead of scheduling the tickets, you could manually adjust the deposit payment to expire (adjust the date) and then set the final payment ticket to be active.

The registrations would appear as additional registrants/attendees since they’ll be registering again but selecting the final payment.

Does that help?
