Hey, is there a way to manually add a mail address to the batch mail mailinglist? Best, |
Hi Simon, My apologies but I’m not sure I understand what you are trying to do. The batch system allows you to select a Batch template and you can edit the template directly when you send the batch email. For example, if I select registrations and select to send a batch email, I see something like this: https://monosnap.com/file/T2mpThVd4SUgAeDmqC1jgTULszFPOj If I select a template to use for the batch system, it loads the content of that template direcyl in the modal: https://monosnap.com/file/Jf6mJm3kwKgbklQy4Sd8p7kJRQzAi6 You can edit the details used on the template directly on that section (Note that any edits made will be saved to the template you selected) and they will be used for the batch on the selected registrations. Is that not what you are looking for? If not can you add some more details on what you are trying to do please? Maybe include a screenshot: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-checklist/#screenshots |

Hey Tony, thanks for your reply first. What my client wants to do is the following: |
Currently not, the batch system is expecting EE registrations. When you select the registrations to send the batch email to it looks over each one and processes the template used to send the details, replacing any shortcodes of the template with the relevant details. Adding in the additional email address to the to the field would mean EE uses that same field for each registration you selected and send the message multiple times to them. If the template used shortcodes those would not parse to the relevant registration for those ‘additional’ emails. |

Hey Tony, thanks for your reply. I understood and will communicate it to the client. Is it possible then to export just a list of all mail addresses for the selected entries to copy it, for example to a custom mail programm? I would think about duplicating the “export csv” button (and functionality) and change just the informations that are exported. (In this case, just the mail address). |
If you need only the email column from the CSV could you not just select that column and copy to a spreadsheet program? I’m not sure why you would need a specific function within EE to do the above. If you are using a service like MailChimp, most allow you to select to specific fields you want to use/map to their fields when you import, see here for an example: |
