I am exploring options for a client on WP who needs the ability mentioned in this previous thread whereby one person can “register” other people and then manage those names. This would be a site for a “pledge” that members of a group would be taking and we think Event Espresso would fit the bill, IF the new EE4 WP User Integration module is able to address the need expressed by this poster:
“Is it possible to configure EE4 so that you can store your attendees’ information in your account? I would like people to be able to create their account and add their attendees’ info to that account, so that they don’t have to enter the info every time they register someone for an event. But rather, they could select from a list of attendees they manage.
For instance, if the website manages a daycare where we sell registrations every season. A parent would log in and select SPRING 2015 Camp, and enter their first child’s info, then click ADD ATTENDEE, and enter their second child’s info.
I’d like to let them create records for their children, which can be reused every time they register. So if they go to SUMMER 2015, they’d have a list of all their children, and they can add each one to the purchase, rather than enter all the data all over again…”
Hi Chad, managing multiple attendees at once through the WP user integration is not currently available at this time.
