when someone joins wait list and you approve them, you are left with just the few fields in the wait list form. How can you either ask for all the form questons up front, OR allow them to complete the full registration by answering all questions when they are released from list?

I see that there is an email that is supposed to be sent that lets them register- but I am not sure how to trigger that email. I do not see an option to “promote” but I can approve – but then they just get the approval email. I must be missing something. I am usuing manual promotion and I go into the registrations filtered by wait list, and I am changing the status from wait list.
I see the options
Approved
Cancelled
Declined
Not Approved
Wait List
and then button to send related messages.
Desired approach – select person on wait list to be off wait list, send them an email to register.

Thanks for contacting our support!
You probably have disabled the “Auto Promote Registrants” option found under Event Espresso –> Events –> Your Event
You can also leave some spaces in your event on manual control just adding a number below the “Auto Promote Registrants” option – Manually Controlled Spaces.

We do not want to do any autopromoting – can we manually control all of them?

Just set the “Auto Promote Registrants” to “No” if you want to control all of them manually.
