I want to setup WordPress accounts for instructors on mysite for them to login to the WP-admin backend. I was wondering if there a way to create a custom role so when these users login to the WP-admin page they only see the Event Espresso event overview page?
I want them to see the status of attendees and respond to the registered users if something has changed, but this should be the only access they should have to the dashboard backend site. Hopefull all other modules that are installed shouldn’t be viewable at all with these accounts.
The Advanced Access Manager plugin might work with the lite version.
The paid version of Event Espresso is compatible with the Roles and Permissions add-on that’s available with the business license that automatically adds an Event Admin role that can be customized.
Excellent, I’m looking into the business license. In order to use Roles and Permissions add-on it looks like i’ll have to get EE3 correct? It doesnt look like the R&P add-on is compatible with EE4 yet.
We have some roles and capabilities stuff brewing in EE4.5 and EE4.6. So be on the look out for that. Also, if you purchase EE3 and the EE3 R&P add-ons, you will get access to EE4 and those add-ons.
