Every year we have a big problem with undeliverable event brochure mailings. We also email blast but that is a problem, too. Is there anything in Event Espresso that would allow attendees to update their contact information on their own? I am envisioning a free “membership” type system that would help us keep our lists current by letting the individual update his or her information when necessary. Any ideas?
If they’ve registered before they can edit their information by going their prior registration URL (which can be included in the notification emails, their receipt, and the invoice).
Event Espresso doesn’t have a membership type system, but WordPress does, and the WP User Integration does allow for some syncing between WordPress user accounts and attendees. Here’s a page on our site that has more information about the WP User Integration add-on:
Thanks, Josh! That looks like something I will have to have you folks set up for me after this year’s conference. I could send an invitation email out to all past attendees with instructions how they can become a new user.
