So I setup the mailchimp integration, but seems that every registration is coming up with an error. Please see below:
This registration could not be subscribed to a MailChimp List with ID: 40ba701c88. There were errors regarding the following: MailChimp field tagged merge_fields.MMERGE4 had the error: Data did not match any of the schemas described in anyOf.. Any mandatory or multi-choice fields that are in this MailChimp list require to be paired with Event questions (in this case Teaching Your Children Truth event) that correspond by type and possibly by having the same answer values. If you have further problems please contact support.
Can anybody help?

Hi there,
There is an issue with one of your MERGE field, or at least MailChimp doesn’t like the data being sent over to it.
In your MailChimp account go to audiences, select the correct audience at the top.
Now go to Settings -> Audience fields and *|MERGE|* tags
Find *|MERGE4|* in the list.
What does it show? You can add a screenshot of the page if preferred:

Also, are you selecting a value for that Merge field in your event?

Are you selecting a question that should be sent over to MailChimp in the event editor for it?
I can’t give specifics on what will show on your page without seeing the image above.

Let me see if I can explain what is in the merge 4 field.
Field and label type box shows “untitled”
the required and visible boxes are unchecked
*|MMERGE4|* or *|MERGE4|*
Default merge tag box is empty

Hmm, ok, so are you using that Merge field for anything in your audience at all?
Next to the Field label, what does it show for type?
Like mine here is an Untitled Text field: https://monosnap.com/file/DYJwq9bamWeF7r0j0iIiSI9jKSwC2Z
Do any of your contacts has values for that field?
Click on Manage Contacts -> View Contacts and you’ll see a list of details, is that Untitled field empty for everyone on the list?

My field says text as well.
None of my contacts have a value for that field

Sounds like that field has been added by mistake and can be removed?
To explain, it looks the request to subscribe attendees to your lists are being rejected because there isn’t a value sent over for that merge field, of that merge field isn’t being used, remove it and test to see of they the. Work.

Hmm, strange, the error is from MailChimp themselves so you shouldn’t be getting an error for MERGE4 if that merge field no longer exists.
Do you mind if I take a look in the admin?
If that’s ok you can send temp login details using this form: https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/
If not that’s fine but I’ll need working screenshots of both your EE event MailChimp settings (just use whichever you are testing registrations on) and your MailChimp MERGE vars as above.

So are you talking about the mailchimp API settings? or is it something else?

With regards to the login credentials? I mean login details for your site, the /wp-admin/ where you have Event Espresso installed.
I don’t need your MailChimp login credentials but I can check over the list merge fields as well if preferred? If so, include those details in the form with the others and I’ll take a look.
