I was looking at the EE4 Mailchimp plugin and read through the documentation but did not see if this scenario is supported:
I have an EE4 event with multiple event date times, e.g. Thursday and Friday.
If a customer signs up for the Thursday event, their minimal info (email, first name and last name) needs to be sent to Mailchimp, but to a list named “Thursday”.
If they sign up for Friday, they should get placed on the Mailchimp list named “Friday”.
(I am also open to placing them on a group within a single list).
The MailChimp list and group settings are on a per-event basis. You would need to split up the event to get registrants/attendees assigned to different date times for an event.
Currently you can only pass over answers to questions you ask within the registration form to be used within merge vars for your lists.
There is a filter available to add/change the details that are passed over, however it currently does not provide any details for the registration within the filter. I’m assuming from the above you want to pass the datetime the user has registered onto within one of the merge vars for your list, is that correct?
I have requested additional details are passed to the filter so that should be possible.
