With the MailChimp addon, if a person submits his or her contact information in step one of the checkout process, but does not complete the payment process in step two, will they still be added to the MailChimp list (i.e. are registrations pending payment added to the MailChimp list or only “Completed” registrations?)
Currently, the contact information is sent to MailChimp when the registrant clicks the “Proceed to Payment Options” button. Then, depending on your double opt-in settings, they can confirm their subscription.
If that concerns you, you might consider setting up a general list where all contacts are added to, and then create an attendee group for only those who actually pay and/or attend and manually add those to another MailChimp group.
