I received an email from Mailchimp advising that “Before August 8, you’ll need to ensure all integrations in your account don’t pass API keys through query parameters. Below is the API key(s) used to connect to an affected integration. For security reasons, we can only provide the first 4 characters of your API key.”

The API key referenced is the one I use with Event Espresso. Is there anything that I need to do to make sure I am in compliance?

Hi there,

Thank you for reporting this, we’ll need to update our integration for this.

I have created a ticket for our developers to investigate further.

Another vote for this. I’ve received the same message from MailChimp. Looking forward to getting an update to the EE plugin
