Hello Event Espresso – today when I logged into EE I noticed that one of my events that just closed is gone. Also, some previous events, although closed I still had up for different reasons, are gone also. What happened? I did not delete my event. |
Hi Celeste, How are you today? Which screen are you looking at, can you give us a screenshot of what you see? Do you have any filters applied so its only showing you active events? |

Hi Garth, |
Hi there, Could you retry those links please, the ones above link to this thread. |
Hello, |
Can you try sharing the actual URLs to the screenshots? The above links are going to your WordPress admin pages. |
The screen shot is of the admin page showing the view of EE that only shows 2 events when there should be 3 events on that page and 5 on the previous page (not showing) – and the other is the EE admin page that shows where the registration numbers run into and runs over and covers the registration time/date information so you can’t see it. What are you seeing? |
Hello Celeste, you linked to your WP dashboard which isn’t a publicly accessible. Try uploading those screenshots to a service like Cloudapp or Tinygrab and then link to them here: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-checklist/#screenshots — |

Okay, hope this works. Thank you. Celeste |
September 10, 2015 at 10:02 am Hi Celeste, those links are pointing to the article that I shared prior. Our support forums do not accept attachments so one way to share images is to upload to WP Media through your WP dashboard and then post the full URL here or sign up for a free image service like Cloudapp and then upload and then post the links here. — |

September 10, 2015 at 10:05 am Does DropBox qualify? That is were the screenshots are filed. |
September 10, 2015 at 11:05 am Hi Celeste, That should work. Try right-clicking and selecting the get Dropbox link option like this: http://cl.ly/image/0W1c3A1h1I2D The above screenshot is from a Mac but you should see an option to get a Dropbox link. Then please post those links here in a reply. Thanks — |

September 10, 2015 at 11:28 am Hi Celeste, I was able to see the screenshots — thank you. It looks like there is a very old event from 2012 and then a new event on the site: http://cl.ly/image/0A1z1G3i3B1t What was the approximate date for the event that is missing? Also, did you recently upgrade from an old version of Event Espresso? Note that the software does allow one-click upgrades but it cannot update on its own. — |

September 10, 2015 at 11:34 am The event that is missing was held this past Tuesday, September 8, 2015. |
Hi And, I can’t image what that might have to do with the events just vanishing … Okay, thanks, |
Hi Celeste, Can you check the “Deleted” event status to see if it ended up there? |
Hello Josh, Yes! I found all of my events there . . . is there some kind of auto feature I need to turn on to prevent this from happening again? I totally freaked out about this today as I still have some much material to send to conference attendees from Tuesday. |
Hi Celeste, The events normally normally do not end up in the deleted folder unless someone deletes, which can happen by accident. Since events are not automatically deleted, there isn’t an auto feature that you can turn on or off in this case. |
Oh wow . . . I will have to advise my team mates of this. |
You’re welcome. |
