I don’t know how we are loading the image file in the template. We are using the default template that came with Event Espresso. It is simply using the logo image the we uploaded our account.

Or, check within the Invoice settings to confirm you are using the full-sized image for the logo:
Event Espresso -> Payment methods -> Invoice
Check the ‘Logo Image’ field and confirm what the URL in use there is.
