1. is direct and the existing system works very well for this, so all good.
2. we have agents that will need to login and book or place events approved on behalf of there customers, the issue is the fields that are available to me.
so, for example, the user is called Paul, so when Paul registers a booking for an event ticket, it will be placed as approved, preventing anyone booking that ticket, the reason for this is Paul has a waiting period of being able to place on hold, so this prevents anyone booking that ticket.
The issue is that paul will book many many tickets for people so i need him to be able to login which i know i can with WP user intergration, but i need somewhere where paul can put the his reference or the actual customer name, this means that paul can see all his bookings under his account and easily idetify which event is for which person, this can just be a custom field where i can add another name or pauls ref number,
I hope this is clear, can you give some advice, please.
I’m afraid Event Espresso doesn’t have this feature set out of the box where agents can track all registrations they’ve booked. This is the type of functionality that a developer could build an add-on to your specifications. The add-on could make use of Event Espresso’s add-on API and capability system.
