Hi, If I purchase a token, will you help me unlock my registrations? I don’t know how to do this: But would like to unlocked the registrations and delete it. Best, Anthony |
Hi Anthony, The link you provided is a way to delete an archived ticket within an event, but you mention registrations above, is this a live site or testing site? Removing archived tickets from events will break ANY registrations assigned to the ticket so should not be done on live sites. To ‘unlock’ a registration you need to delete all payments within its transaction first, EE will then allow you to remove it. Can you provide further details on why you cant to unlock the ticket/registrations? |

Is a live site, but I took down all the events and questions. I would like to delete it because I want start over with a clean site and not have any items from before. Just like things to be clean and clear out thats all. All the registration are link to past events and everything is removed, but I seem to delete everything and now I can’t delete the transaction because the payment and registration info is deleted. So the transaction is locked |
So you remove the registrations/payments through the database? EE doesn’t allow you to remove the details if their are relationships between them, for example you can’t delete a transaction if there are payments within the transaction and you cant delete only the registration for the transaction through the UI.
We have an option within EE to remove ALL Event Espresso data from the database which would be as if you had not created any events, registrations, payments, settings, anything. Is that what you are looking for? |

I already tired to reset it and even deleted the plug in, but the transaction are still there. |
Can you add a screenshot that shows the transaction please? https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-checklist/#screenshots Did you Perm Delete all data or reset the tables? Reset should completely empty the tables so they shouldn’t show, Perm delete actually drops the tables from the database so they can’t be there. |

I did both. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1V-bIqadBklTThvYWhpbkxzTnc/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1V-bIqadBklV0RjWlNUZ2htV1U/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1V-bIqadBklMk1fVWloU1RnMWM/view?usp=sharing |

Hi Tony, just following up to see if you had a chance to look at the screen shots. |
OK, so to confirm. You’ve navigated to Event Espresso -> Maintenance -> Reset/Delete Data and used BOTH of these options – http://take.ms/MT5ww And after doing so those registrations still show? Note – if you have not used those functions they should completely clear all EE events, registrations, transactions, settings etc from your site if you click either of them. (It should be as if EE had never been activated on that site before) Make sure you have a working database backup before using either just to be safe. What version of EE are you running? |

I click on all the reset and delete options, because I wanted to delete and reset everything. After I click on all the possible reset and delete options it deleted everything but a bunch of registration questions and all the lock transcation. All the message, and registration information and answer were delete and so was the payment. But the transcation was still there and it was still lock. WordPress Version: 4.6.1 PHP Version: 5.4.45 MySQL Version: 5.6.32 Event Espresso Version: 4.9.22.p |
Hmm, ok that’s really strange. I spent some time trying to reproduce this but have so far been unable to. Can I take a look at what data was left after the reset? If so you can send temporary login details using this form: |
|
Ok, so the data that remains is all data that would be lost if the tables were dropped so something is preventing the reset on the site although why some data is remove and other data not I’m not sure. Normally I would advise to re-run the reset but it appears the site is currently taking list registrations, so we can’t do that and will need to wait until your next want to clear the data. Unless those registration are test registrations? (They don’t appear to be) |
|
|
I back everything up? Should I try to do the reset again? |
If you have a backup and are prepared to lose all of data within EE then yes, re-run the reset using the option ‘Permanantely Delete All Event Espresso Data’ shown here – http://take.ms/MT5ww |
